Greetings everybody, I fell in love with the White Mountains back in the early 70's.It's so beautiful there.I've hiked many of the trails.the Osgood trail.Across from Mt.Washington is Carter Notch Dome, was also a favorite. We would camp where the trees were about 6-8 feet high or so.We would wake up above the clouds where it was sunny, hike down and go below the cloud cover,so beautiful!!!We would stay at the Dolly Copp campground. Many times we went up out of season. When I got married,I rented a motor home and we took our time.Going to the Flume,Lost River, etc. My wife also fell in love with the whole area.We went up dozens of times. After a while we didn't need maps to see where we wanted to go.I told my son that when I died,I wanted to be cremated, and brought out to the presidential range and scatter my ashes. Then I'll be at peace.I'll always love it there.Oh Yeah,That picture is totally Awesome.I'm looking for all sorts of pics of the area. Matt Bernard e-mail is mlbernard@connectedliving.net I live in Southington Connecticut.I'm not as good with the computer as I'd like to be.But I hope to purchase Pics of all the seasons,But I like the winter scenes the best.Thanx,so much for your help I really appreciate it.
